The NKL Jackpot is drawn on the first Friday of every month and is a rollover Jackpot, increasing month by month if it is not won.

As you see, the Jackpot starts at € 3million in the 1st Class. To establish if the Jackpot has been cracked a qualification draw of the single-digit numbers 0 – 9 is held. Only if the numbers "0 or 1 or 2" comes up has the Jackpot been cracked. Any other number and the Jackpot rolls over to the next class, increasing as illustrated in the graphic.

If the numbers "0 or 1 or 2" is drawn in the qualification draw, a further draw is then held to award the Jackpot to one unique ticket number. The Jackpot then reverts to € 3 million in the following class and builds up again by € 2 million each class and by € 5 million in the 6th Class. In the 6th class the Jackpot will be doubled up to € 32 million.

This means that the minimum Jackpot in Classes 1 – 5 is always € 3 million, regardless of how many times it is won and in the 6th Class it is never less than € 5 million up to a maximum of € 32 million. And however much is in the pot, the Jackpot is guaranteed to be paid out by the end of the game because no qualification draw is held in the 6th Class. So whatever happens, the Jackpot is always cracked in the 6th Class!
