The North West German Class Lottery (NKL) dates back to 1612, making it one of the world's most historic lotteries.
This is one of the earliest tickets still in existence, dating from 1770.
The NKL in its present form was established in 1947 and is a state lottery operated by a consortium of 10 German states.

This time the NKL celebrates its 125th Jubilee Lottery and offers Euro 50
million extra in the Jubilee Draw. Take Lady Luck by the hand and join us
for the Jubilee!
All the prizes in the NKL Lottery are determined in advance and are guaranteed by the state.

The headquarters of the NKL are located at Überseering 4, 22297 Hamburg,
Germany.

The daily draws are held here at HQ and are open to the public. So if you happen to be in Hamburg and would like to go along and see for yourself, you are most welcome. But you'll need to be early – the draws commence at 8 a.m.!
